HERE IS A QUICK DESCRIPTION OF WHY I BOUGHT THE GT4 ST185
My Interest in the Celica GT4 started about a year ago when I test drove a GT4 ST205. I liked the car but did not buy it as I was not 100% sure this was the car for me.
I was currently the owner of a Lancia Delta HF Turbo I.E (Which we highly moddified) and I loved the car but knew I wanted a change.
In the new car I was looking for the look for the following things.
Speed
4WD System
Power to weight
Reliability
It had to be a RARE car
Good Looks
Nice Drive and Feel to the car
Preferably Leather Interior
I then started to look around for a Jap supercar as they are both rare and more reliable than the Italian car(s) by far.
First on the list was the Nissan Sunny GTI-R,
I have driven a few of these and am not a great fan of these (They are Great cars again dont get me wrong but not the most practical of cars and not my cup of tea) and I also look for nice interior (which these really dont have). So this was the first off the list
Second was the GT4 ST205
Nice cars, Nice to drive, quick and rare but the reason I took this off of the list was because I done like the new front lights they had from the previous pop up light used on earlier GT4's.
Third was the Mitsubishi Evo's
I LOVE THEM and have driven a few again and a few of my friends own them.
Which I mainly did not buy beacuse I wanted a 4/5 or 6 as these have AYC and are better engines but I could not afford one at the time as I took a very big pay drop to work closer to home for a while
The Subaru was in the list but they are far to POPULAR and I have heard a lot of stories about the engines not being very reliable.
Then I saw the earlier GT4 ST185 WHICH I NOW OWN for sale accidently and decided to give it a shot.
After the first test drive I loved the car and wanted it, the owner was taking it of off the market due to time wasters and gave me a chance LUCKILY...
This car was perfect for me,
RARE, Looked nice, Had all the Spec I wanted from the new car inc Leather and was also reasonable for insurane as well as running and buying prices for a Jap super car.
I THEN BOUGHT THE CAR
